Property Description
The Elite Hotel Residens is an elegant hotel that brings to mind a classic English club environment. As our guest you will stay in a stylish room with all the comforts you need. For a business meeting or a private conversation you can use our fine library or the lobby bar. The Residens building was famous among travelers for it's fashionable Schweizeri Residens. The pastry cook and contractor Monsieur Marcel Laurent ran a continental style patisserie here for 33 years. In 1986 the building hosted a nightclub and in 1987 it became a hotel. At first, a bus company ran the hotel, and a few years later it became privately owned. In 1999, Elite Hotels of Sweden acquired the hotel and is now operating two hotels in Malmö, Elite Hotel Residens and the nearby Elite Hotel Savoy.
