Property Description
The beautiful building dates back to 1890 when it was originally run as a pension. Not until 1932 did it become one of Copenhagen's most exclusive hotels. Today, The Grand hotel is one of Copenhagens fine classic hotels offering 161 rooms and suites all tastefully furnished. Marble bathrooms, hair dryer, trouser press, telephone, minibar, satellite TV, and in-house video complete the picture. The Grand Hotel accommodates the cosy Restaurant Frascati that offers a classic Italian cuisine. In the restaurant's bar you can relax with a drink, and in the summer time you can enjoy an almost Parisian atmosphere at the Grand Hotel's outdoor cafe.

In the begining of 2005 an extensive refurbishiment of the Grand hotel took place, All of the guest rooms have been decorated in refreshing light colours and equipped with beautiful new curtains, classic carpet designs and modern lampshades. Bedspreads and pillows have been styled in new warm colours in an exquisite quality and all sofas and chairs have be re-covered. All bathrooms have be painted and refitted with new lighting. Finally all marble bathrooms have be sanded down and polished. Each of the 161 rooms and suites are equipped with trouser press, minibar, telephone, radio, table and chair, hairdryer, satellite tv, movie channel/pay tv and modern bathroom.
