From the M40 Motorway Exit at Junction 9 and take the A34 towards Oxford.Take the first exit from the A34, sign-posted Middleton Stony.Follow the road over the A34 and turn right at the mini roundabout, into Weston on the Green (B430). Weston Manor Hotel is approx 300 yards along the road on the left hand side.From the South Using the A34 from Oxford, heading towards the M40 take the last exit before M40 signposted Middleton Stony and Weston-on-the-Green (B430) just after the little chef and BP Garage on the left. The historic building, now country house hotel, and wonderful grounds make it a beautiful and unique hotel venue for conferences and weddings. Whether it is a short leisure break, business accommodation, day and residential conferences, product launch and company team building day, small intimate wedding or a larger more lavish exclusive use wedding in the Manor House or a Marquee within the hotel grounds. Steeped in history and dating back to the 11th century, Weston Manor is a beautiful and unusual venue for a conference or a meeting. The present Baronial Hall was the bailiffs court for the Abbott of Osney who owned the house before the dissolution of the monasteries by King Henry V111 in the 16th century.Subsequently the great land owning families, the Earls of Abingdon and Berkshire - the Norreys and Berties resided at Weston Manor until the death of the last heir during the great war in 1917.Renovated during the twenties and thirties by several families, Weston Manor was occupied during the second world war when it was used by the BBC as a dormitory for their staff.The building was converted into a hotel in the late 1940, and bought by its present owners, the Osborn family in 1983. Mr and Mrs Osborn pride themselves on the care and effort they have made to sympathetically restore the building and its grounds.
