Due to its brilliant location right at V??a Augusta, an ancient Roman military and trade route, the hotel was popular with colonists and merchants, as studies of archaeologist Laura Aparicio indicate.Worth mentioning is the fact that famous Christopher Columbus during his stay in Cordoba lived in what is today Room 204.The hotel, as you find it today, opened in March 2007 after extensive restoration.
