Pool is a new concept in five stars accommodation. It comprises of 70 rooms of two and three bedrooms contemporary apartments surrounding a pool which stretched 170 meters. Some of the suites contain their own pool, others have a swim up terrace. At pool it is all about the water. It is located in the magical town of Port Douglas once a sleepy fishing port it has fast become a hub for overseas tourists, movie stars and guests who like the finer things in life. Port Douglas is full of wonderful restaurants covering many cuisines, many shops with both local and international items. There is so much to do in and around the village. Snorkeling and Diving are popular as it is the closest port to the Great Barrier Rief, one of the great wonders of the world. Mix that with golf, rainforest walks, the beach, sunshine, tennis, cycling, hiking or just plain lying around the pool and you will get a good idea of what pool is all about. Enclosed in centre of Port Douglas is Pool and its exclusive service and style. There is nothing like it in the village and it is orientated to the international traveler.

Starting Point: Airport Turn right out of Airport and follow highway to Port Douglas. Approximately 50 minutes. Almost at the top of Australia, on the right and at the base of the pointy bit. On approach from the south if you run into a rainforest, (it’s called the Daintree), then you have gone too far. If on the other hand you don’t notice the rainforest and you just keep going, what looks like an enormous swimming pool (bigger than ours),and Papua New Guinea will be dead giveaways that you need to turn south.Located 48.5 minutes north of Cairns Airport you will find Port Douglas
