Property Description
Our 4 star recently built resort, will be pleased to offer you a refined Mediterranean holiday. The resort is located up a rocky cliff that gently slopes down to the sea, with a breath-taking view on the Taormina Bay, the Calabria coast and the Sant’Alessio fortress. It is 12 Km far from the centre of Taormina and it provides a free roundtrip shuttle bus service. The city of Catania is 65 Km far. Our resort has a very large hall with reception and bar, a rich and appetizing buffet restaurant (Il Dattero) with a large terrace from which you can admire a beautiful panorama, and a restaurant with menu “à la carte” (Il Rosmarino) with a refined cuisine where aromas and flavours become delicious meals, topped with a breath-taking view. Two big fresh water swimming pools are available for the hotel guests and a smaller and shallow water one for their children. One of the two swimming pools has a bar inside for tasting refreshing cocktails in the water. The sea is directly accessible from the exclusive 2000 sqm wooden bathing platform perfectly equipped with sun beds and umbrellas; the platform can be reached by two lifts or a stairway. At the platform bar you can taste small snacks and drink refreshing drinks.The hotel has 200 rooms. All the rooms, 142 double rooms (about 20 sqm), 18 Junior Suite (about 30 sqm) and 40 Suites (about 40 sqm) are distributed in blocks of two to three floor villas. The modern double rooms are elegantly furnished and have satellite TV, safe, independent air conditioning, hair-dryer, mini bar, shower or bath tub. All rooms have a terrace with sea view or garden view. Junior Suites are on two floors, they have a double bed on the first floor and a single bed on the ground floor; they all have a wonderful sea view. Big Suites are all at ground floor and have one bedroom and one sitting-room with two divan beds. The spacious bathroom is equipped with hydro-massage showers or tubs. From the Suite terrace you can admire a ravishing panorama. On request, it is possible to have one of our ten non smoking rooms. There are rooms for disabled people (for the steep location of the villas, our resort is not advised for people with deambulation impairments).Every night our central restaurant offers a variety of reach and appetizing thematic buffets and the possibility of having dinner on the beautiful panoramic terrace. The charming “Il Rosmarino” restaurant is opened both for lunch and dinner, with particular and refined “à la carte” menus and a variety of regional and national wines. Snacks and salads can be tasted at the swimming pool and platform bars. At lunch you can also taste special grilled food. Sport and WellnessTwo tennis/multifunctional courts, table tennis, plain air fitness room, canoes, are available for people fond of wellness and physical shape. For those who want to relax and regain their psycho-physical wellness, the resort has created Magna Grecia, an Intègrée SPA and Beauty Farm. It is the epitome of technology and Endo-cosmetology applied in the treatment sector for achieving psycho-physical-beauty well-being.
