Property Description
Hotel eden is located in the center of Portofino
near the "Piazzetta" and the harbour. Portofino is an ancient fishing village, built around a natural port that has preserved its traditional character. It enjoys a mild climate both in summer and winter and is an ideal spot in any season for those wishing to find some peace and quiet in a very unique corner of the world. The Hotel Eden is ideally situated in the centre of the town, in a narrow side-street close to the esplanade and the famous piazetta, but well hidden from the crowds. The Hotel's small garden, shaded by old trees, provides a unique and intimate atmosphere. The service provided is discrete and unobtrusive, but staff are nevertheless able to anticipate all their guests' needs, be they foreign or Italian, with the property owners personally choosing the management. During summer, meals are served in the garden, with a menu based on fish dishes and Ligurian specialties. The rooms feature simple and comfortable furnishing, television and well maintained facilities, with those on the upper floors being more elegant. The Hotel is an ideal base for the classic day trips to the surrounding area: to the lighthouse, San Fruttuoso and to San Margherita Ligure.
