Howard Johnson Plaza Hotel Anaheim Resort located along Harbor Blvd. by Matterhorn Mountain, this original Disney area hotel offers unique facilities such as seven acres of gardens, walkways and one large pool area. Note: The Sprayground and the hot tub will be closed through July 2008 as the hotel ads a mini water park called, Castaway Cove. Speedy's Sprayground and the hot tub will re-open with Castaway Cove in July. Guests of the Howard Johnson Plaza Hotel Anaheim Resort also enjoy front row views for the Disneyland fireworks, which explode over the Matterhorn. The Howard Johnson Plaza Hotel Anaheim Resort is only a seven-minute walk to the main entrance plaza of the Disneyland Resort and four blocks to the Anaheim Convention Center. Free Parking. Our guest rooms are not only some of the largest in Anaheim, but are some of the most beautiful and contemporary. We have just renovated our rooms in a bright resort decor and have added new amenities. Each room contains a refrigerator, coffee/tea maker, 25" TV with Sony Playstation, HBO, CNN, Disney Channel, Discovery, ESPN, & pay-per-view movies, iron/ironing board, high speed internet access, voicemail and dataports. Most rooms also have balconies and double sinks.
