Location
The hotel is located in the heart of historical downtown Durnago. The Durango and Silverton Train is two blocks south of the hotel and Mesa Verde National Park is located approximately one hour west of the hotel. Durnago Mountain Resort is thirty minutes north of the hotel.

Property Description
The Strater Hotel has been the centerpiece of Historic Durango since 1887. Walk into the lobby and lose a century. Memorabilia of historical significance fill display cases throughout the hotel. Deluxe rooms are gracefully appointed with spectacular and often rare antiques.
- Premium
Premium rooms are the most regal of the Strater guestrooms, with upgraded accessories such as bathrobes and compact disc players, and turn-down service is an automatic upgrade. Overlooking historic downtown Durango, some Premium rooms feature small sitting areas.

Starting Point: From Major Airport As you exit the airport turn right. This will put you on airport road. Take airport road to Highway 172, turn left. Follow Highway 172 to highway 160 West. Turn left onto Highway 160 west and follow this road approximately 20 miles, stay in your right hand lane, Highway 160 West will go to the left, you will want to go straight. Turn right on 7th street, go two blocks, turn right onto main Avenue. Hotel is on the corner.
