Located in Costa Adeje the best sun and beach area of Tenerife. About 180m from the volcanic Sand Beach in a quite area but close to shops; bars; restaurant and the popular Torviscas Market. Just 400m from Puerto Colon Harbour; 18 km from the Airport; between 2 and 15 km from 4 different golf courses and 80 km from the Capital Santa Cruz. Starting Point: TFS-Reina Sofia Airport SW, Leaving the airport just follow the road up to the motorway and take the way to ?Los Cristianos?. (Do not take the one to Santa Cruz!) Now keep following the motorway passing by the following exits: Costa de Silencio, Las Galletas, Parque de la Reina, Valle San Lorenzo, Los Cristianos, Playa de las Americas and San Eugenio. More or less 20 km from the airport you finally take the ?Torviscas? exit and leave the highway. Now turn to the right (not to the left, either straight up the hill !!) and you will cross the highway bridge.
From this moment on, you have to stay on this main road that leads you directly to the Esmeralda Playa. After the bridge you will see on the left hand side the Apartments Mareverde, on the left the Hotel Playa Olid, then after a big crossing with a round about (keep following the main road, do not turn to the left, neither to the right!) you will pass the hotel Torviscas Playa on the right and now the street turns to the left. Right after this curve you will see a green, high building on the left, which is the Esmeralda Playa! First you can see the main entrance and a few meters after it, there is the parking. Touch the bottom on your left and the gate will open. Welcome to the Esmeralda Playa!
