Property Description
The 4 start Akuwaiseni Guest House consists of six double neo classic rooms with a definite minimal and ethnic flavor which all have their own en-suite bathrooms; cupboard space and maid service every morning. All rooms have a beautiful decor and include comfortable beds with pure cotton linen; mini bar; desk; Sat TV; ceiling fan; heating; hairdryer; toiletries; gowns; bath and pool towels and complimentary coffee and tea. There are also 2 self catering and self contained units that are very chic and have wooden oregon pine floors; pressed ceilings dating back to the 1930s. and a fully equipped kitchen. This is the newest edition to the Akuwaiseni Guest House bringing the total number of rooms to 15. Here you can relax on the veranda and enjoy a glass of wine or just take in the garden and surrounding areas. We also have 5 cottages. The hotel offers a conference room for a capacity of 22 people; with all the necessary amenities. House 1 has 9 secure off street parking bays available free of charge and House 2 has 6 secure covered parking bays available free of charge. Additional Information; Children aged 2 and under stay free in the room with parents and in existing bedding. Children over the age of 12 will be considered an adult. Other Child Policy Information; no children between the ages of 3 and 12 are allowed in the hotel. The hotel reserves the right to without prior notification cancel any reservation with an invalid or incomplete credit card number.

Starting Point: Johannesburg International Airport S, Exit the airport and take the Johannesburg Road. At Galoolys interchange take the Durban-Alberton road and then turn left onto the Germiston Johannesburg Road. Drive into Johannesburg until you get to Sandton and Pretoria then follow that road until you get to the Empire turn off. Turn left into Empire Road and follow Empire until you get to a T-Junction by the SABC. Turn right into Kingsway and at the third set of traffic lights turn into University Street. Pass Mc Donaldss on your left and keep driving down University Street which becomes Main Street. Carry on until you get to the 3rd set of traffic lights and keep to the right hand side of the road where the island is. Where the island stops; turn right into 6th Avenue. Go up the hill and over the roundabout and the 3rd house on your left hand side is no 21-6th Avenue. If you come by train or bus advise the hotel management prior to your arrival and they will arrange for you to be collected.

Starting Point: Lanseria Airport W, Exit the airport and take the road to Randburg. As you get to the M1 you take the road to Roodepoort. About 1.2km further take the Beyers Naude ramp turn off. At the bottom; turn left and follow Beyers Naude. You will see Cresta on your left and North Cliff corner and the Westpark Cemetery on your right. As you pass take the Judith Road on your left continue straight. You will arrive in Melville Koppies. As you pass through you will see 11th Ave down to 6th Ave. Here you turn left up the hill and arrive at a little roundabout. In front of you on your left you will see 21 6th Ave-Melville. If you come by train or bus advise the hotel management prior to your arrival and they will arrange for you to be collected.
