Property Description
The 1 star Pension Picasso has recently been totally renewed and features over 13 spacious and comfortable rooms that are spacious and comfortable and have a sink; heating and TV. Some rooms have a balcony overlooking the Ramblas. The Pension is centrally located right on Ramblas street the remarkable street full of tapas bars; cafe terraces and eateries. Many of the Museums remain very close to the Hostel like the Picasso Museum; the Miro Foundation; the Antoni Tapies Foundation; the Egyptian Museum; the Music Museum; the Museum of Modern Art MACBA; the Maritime Museum and the Center of Contemporari Culture CCCB among others. The hostal is also very close to the old harbour Port Vell; the Olympic Harbour and the Olympic ring in Montjuic. The rooms have TV; shared bathroom; safety box and washing basin. Parking is available next to the Pension and costs 35 EUR per 24h. Additional Information; Children age 2 and under stay free in the room with parents and in existing bedding. Children over this age will be considered an adult. The hotel reserves the right to without prior notification cancel any reservation with an invalid or incomplete credit card number.

Starting Point: BCN-Barcelona Airport N,
From the airport head northeast then take the slight left towards C32B-Carretera a l Aeroport. Continue slight right at C32B- Carretera a l Aeroport then merge onto Autovia de Castelldefels C31 via the ramp to Barcelona-Ronda Litoral and continue to follow C31. Take the ramp to Ronda de Dalt-Girona-Lleida-Tarragona and keep right at the fork and follow signs for Barcelona and merge onto B10-Ronda del Litoral. Take exit 21 Ciutat Vella toward Paral lel la Rambla-Montjuic and merge onto Passeig de Josep Carner. At Placa de la Carbonera take the 4th exit onto Avinguda del Paral lel heading to Avinguda Paral lel-Placa d Espanya. Turn right at Carrer Nou de la Rambla then right at Rambla dels Caputxins. Continue on Rambla de Santa Monica. A taxi from the airport should take about 25 minutes and cost around 25-30 EUR depending on traffic and luggage. For trains the RENFE train leaves the airport every half an hour and will take you to Plaza Cataluna in about 25 mins and costs 2.60 EUR for a single ticket.
From plaza Cataluna take the metro to metro stop Liceo-green line. The hostel is a short 1 minute walk from the station. By bus the Aerobus will also take you from the Airport to Catalunya station and costs 3.90 EUR. The journey time is around 30 minutes.
