Situated in the Serrania of Ronda at the foot of Sierra de las Nieves and just 1 km from the historic and monumental city of Ronda Hotel El Juncal offers to its guests an environment suitable to rest for a few days surrounded by natural and cultural inheritance as well as many other attractions. The 4 star Hotel is a former ancestral house dating from the end of the XVIII century dedicated to the production of wines which over its 200 years of existence has undergone diverse modifications and extensions; the last one realized in the year of 2001 has converted the country estate El Juncal into a Hotel Cellar which occupies 8.000sqm of land. El Juncal has revolutionized the concept of rural ambience contrasting the traditional with the modern; conserving the original structure combining it with an avant garde interior character with minimalist architecture. Straight lines and white walls that play with the light combined with a designed decor in pastel shades give the result of a wonderful ambience; warm; comfortable and pleasing. The eleven rooms nine of them in the main house and the other two as another concept in the garden have the same spaciousness but a different layout. Each one has a distinctive touch with a careful selection of furniture and designer carpets in strong shades designed to offer the guest a comfortable atmosphere. Everyone gets national and international TV-channels; air conditioning; heating; ADSL line and heated floors in the bathroom. The hotel has free parking available. Additional Information; Children age 1 and under stay free in the room with parents and in existing bedding. Children over this age will be considered an adult. The hotel reserves the right to without prior notification cancel any reservation with an invalid or incomplete credit card number.

Starting Point: SVQ-Sevilla Airport SE,
From Seville Airport take the NIV-E05 road towards Seville and follow the direction for Sevilla Centro; Huelva; Cadiz and Jerez de la Frontera. After 11km take exit 6 signposted for Sevilla Centro and Utrera. Follow the signs for directions to Utrera. You are now on the A376. When you approach Utrera ignore the turning which takes you into the town but continue on the A 376 passing by the villages of El Coronil; Montellano and Puerto Serrano. Shortly after passing Puerto Serrano you arrive at an intersection with the Jerez-Antequera road A382. Turn left in the direction of Ronda-Antequera and continue till you come to a roundabout with traffic lights.
From here you have to get onto the El Burgo road A366. Continue on to the second set of traffic lights and turn left. Continue straight on where the road takes you past the hospital on your right and soon after on the same side of the road you should see the first small blue sign indicating the presence of the hotel. Continue until you see the second blue hotel sign and to the right a large white sign saying El Juncal.

Starting Point: AGP-Malaga Airport NW,
From Malaga Airport take the highway N340 in the direction of Cadiz. Continue straight in the direction of Algeciras; Marbella and Fuengirola keeping to the right of the road where you will then come across an option to continue on the old coast road N340 or to take the new motorway E15-A7. Both roads will take you in the right direction however the new motorway is faster but you have to pay tolls. Whichever route you decide to take continue heading west bypassing Torremolinos; Fuengirola and Marbella. You find the turn off for Ronda-A376 to the right after Puerto Banus. The A376 takes you up into the Sierra de las Nieves. Continue in the direction of Seville till you come to a roundabout with traffic lights and a railway bridge. Take the first right towards El Burgo-A366. This road goes past the hospital and you should see the first small blue sign indicating the presence of the hotel. Continue until you see the second blue hotel sign which is approximately 1.2km after the roundabout and then follow the signs turning right off the road onto an asphalted track.
