Property Description
With every room offering the most dramatic panoramas overlooking the crystal-like Ionian Sea and the mystery that is Mount Etna, Villa Angela was constructed with the greatest attention to detail starting with the very first stone. In fact each space and every component was devised to transmit the essence of Sicilian life and as such all the chosen materials involved are typical of this most historic area. Including such things as silver stone from Taormina, wonderfully crafted local wrought iron, while not forgetting of course the finest local chestnut wood used for all our furniture. And then to cap it all, Caltagirone ceramics of the type that has made the island of Sicily famous, are present throughout the hotel. This elegant hotel in Taormina is in perfect symbiosis with the nature surrounding it, creating a sort of internal, external continuity. With glass doors and windows throughout to maximise the incredible panoramic views looking onto the historic areas surrounding the hotel, Villa Angela also features wide terraces throughout. Additionally the swimming pool and restaurant area are most tranquil, almost like a small oasis but complete with terracotta vases, wrought iron tables and 50 species of plants, from citrus to the most scented flowers. Additional information: Children age 3 and under stay free in the room with parents and in existing bedding. Children age 4-12 receive a 50 pct reduction. Children over this age will be considered an adult.

- Junior Suite
More spacious and more privately situated than even the deluxe superiors. Our Junior Suite features jacuzzi with hydro therapy massage as well as having the advantage of direct access to the solariums and swimming pool area of Villa Angela. The Junior suite also has a wonderful grand terrace featuring all manner of Mediterranean plants and flowers. Wireless Internet. Size of room is 35 sqm. . Sleeps 2.
- Etna Suite
Without doubt our Etna Suite would be perfect for Honeymoon couples and also those looking for a romantic break. Befitting their title these suites were planned to maximise the very best views available in Taormina of the wonderous Mt Etna and the Ionian coastline. Size of suite is 60 sqm. Featuring two separate/adjoining rooms, including one spacious bedroom with wonderful breakfast terrace, plus one lounge/spacious salon room with panoramic terrace looking towards the romantic centre of Taormina. The bathrooms are a particular feature of these Etna suites as they include sensational jacuzzi centres set with special lighting features to give the most perfect relaxing ambience. As the name suggests this is the most spacious of all our prestigious Etna Suites. Decorated in Sicilian Imperial style throughout, the suite comprises a splendid bedroom with breakfast terrace offering stunning views of Mount Etna and the blue Ionian Sea. Size of suite is 120 sqm. Lounge room with panoramic terraces facing the splendid mountain top Medieval town of Castelmola, this room features the best quality home entertainment centre including grand LCD television/DVD/CD/Full Satelite TV. Wireless Internet. Additionally the suite offers a third room overlooking the pretty town of Taormina that acts as library/quiet room. Starting Point: From Catania Fontanarossa Airport S, Bus--You can arrive in Taormina in less than half an hour with a suburban bus-get off at the Madonna della Rocca stop which is just 50 meters from the hotel--taxi--take private taxi to arrive directly at Villa Angela--car--take the A18 highway in the direction of Messina and exit for Taormin-Follow the directions for the center and from here drive in the direction of Chiesa della Madonna della Rocca-Please note that it is one direct road heading all the way uphill to Madonna della Rocca-Hotel Villa Angela is situated on the bend just fifty metres before Chiesa Madonna della Rocca--By train--
From Taormina-Giardini Naxos train station-5 km from Taormina center-take urban bus and get off at Madonna della Rocca-or you can reach the hotel by private taxi
