Location
Rocco Forte Hotel de Rome is located on Bebelplatz, off Unter den Linden. It is a conversion of an existing building constructed in 1889 by architect L. Heim, and housed the head office of Dresdner Bank until 1945. This is one of the few luxury hotels in Berlin located in an original building making use of its full architectural splendor. The opera building is direct opposite the Hotel. The Berlin Dome, Gendarmenmarkt, Brandenburg Gate, Friedrichstrasse with its high class shopping centers like QUARTIER 205-207 and Galerie La Fayette as well as Check Point Charlie are within 5 minutes walking distance.
