There are many on-going activities available in Missoula including First Friday Art Walks at the many Art Galleries downtown. Shopping is also available in historic downtown Missoula. The Rocky Mountain School of Photography holds many classes in the Spring as well as year-round. The City of Missoula offers many opportunities to recreate when the weather is still a little chilly. Currents is an indoor aquatic facility featuring slides, pools, and soaking opportunities, and the annual Run for the Trees 5K walk/run is in early April. Other Missoula events and opportunities include the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Boone and Crockett Club, the Missoula Maulers Hockey, the International Wildlife Film Festival in May, and the Western Montana Fair in August.
