Hotel Guldsmeden is a small hotel situated in the old town in the very heart of Aarhus. With only 27 rooms the hotel offers a warm and homely atmosphere and each guest will be sure to feel welcome and cared for. You can enjoy a cup of coffee and your favourite book in our lovely garden with it's fruit trees and flowers. We offer free parking between 3pm and 8am. *** Non smoking hotel *** The concept for the Guldsmeden hotel is unique, and a very important feature is the focus on organic products. In all rooms you will find Guldsmedens own manufactured organic shampoo and cream products. The sumptuous organic breakfast buffet is a feature in all the Guldsmedens hotels and includes various types of high-quality bread, cakes, fruit. charcuterie and cheeses as well as homemade yoghurt with vanilla and almonds. Breakfast is served on handmade Mexican crockery and can be enjoyed on the lovely heated courtyard or in the breakfast room. The reception is open from 7 in the morning until 12 midnight. Please note D1S / D1D room types are located in the annex which is situated at the far end of Aarhus calm and lovely garden. The annex has 5 rooms sharing two bathrooms.Th Aarhus Hotel Guldsmeden is a non smoking hotel. Financial Compensation of DKK 1500.00 for clients who do not uphold the hotels non smoking policy. Starting Point: Billund Airport / BLL By car - Follow directions to central Aarhus via motorway E-45. Turn left on Viby Ringvei, turn right on Soren Frichs Vej, take left on Vestre Ringgade, and then right on Silkeborgvej. Continue on Vesterbrogade over Vesterbro Torv, keep left on Norre Alle, and then turn right on Guldsmedgade. Parking is available in the courtyard for a daily fee. Parking spaces can only be reserved by calling the hotel. It is also possible to catch a taxi from the airport - This takes approx 55-70 minutes depending on the traffic.
