Starting Point: Dusseldorf Airport S,
From the airport, a taxi to the hotel will cost you about 35 DM, the ride takes about 15 minutes (longer during rush hours). Public transport is fairly easy to handle and takes you to the hotel's doorstep. In the airport building, follow the signs towards "S-Bahn" (rapid transit trains) taking you downstairs. Tickets cost 3,10 DM and can be purchased next to the train platform (vending machine or desk). Take any train that leaves the station. Change trains at "Dusseldorf Hauptbahnhof", which is the city's main railway station. Stay on the same platform and wait for any train on Line 8 or 11. These lines will take you three more stops to "Volklinger Strasse". Here you take the exit to the rear of the train. Downstairs turn to the right, and after 20 steps you will reach the hotel entrance.
