124 kms North of Cairns, located on the shores of Weary Bay the lodge is completely surrounded by World Heritage Listed Daintree National Park. Journey time from Cairns to Bloomfield by air, road and sea transfer is approximately 90 minutes.

Property Description
To the south of Cooktown lies Australia s last remaining virgin tropical rainforest. Cape Tribulation National Park has World Heritage status. Abutting this ecological diversity is this beautifully remote Lodge, completely secluded, nestled in the rainforest, and overlooking the Coral Sea. There are just 17 individual cabins. The lodge offer the best of ocean and forest. Tour the warm waters or green trails, or laze around the lodge enjoying the magical setting. Meals are casual at the open-air restaurant. Bloomfield is only accessible by sea and so has no casual visitors or day trippers. It offers total rest and relaxation or, for more action, a variety of tours and activities. Lunch is either a picnic or an informal meal, evening meals vary from barbecues to a tropical menu or buffets. Bloomfield represents a wonderfully comfortable gateway to the reef and rainforest - two of Australia's grandest natural features.

Deluxe room - twin or queen double bedding. All have sea-facing verandah with stunning views over Weary Bay. Facilities include minibar, hairdryer, ceiling fan, day bed, mosquito net and tea/coffee making facilities. Elegantly furnished, fully screened and most are semi-detached.
- Rainforest Room
Rainforest room. All Rainforest rooms have queen double bedding. Adjacent to the main lodge, Rainforest Rooms are excellent value, comfortable and convenient. Verandah overlook lush rainforest and some have a partial sea view. Facilities include minibar, hairdryer, ceiling fan, mosquito net and tea/coffee making facilities. Elegantly furnished.
- Honeymoon Cottage
Detached Honeymoon timber cottage. Not just for honeymooners, these cottages are the ultimate treat at Bloomfield. Exquisitely appointed and each with its own distinct character, they have been uniquely designed to enjoy the best sea views with complete privacy. All rooms are equipped with a spa bath. Facilities include minibar, hairdryer, ceiling fan, day bed, mosquito net and tea/coffee making facilities. All rooms have queen double beds.
- Queenslander Room
A pretty terrace of 4 cabins, the Queenslanders enjoy a totally unspoilt view over Weary Bay with a verandah running the full length of the building. Facilities include minibar, hairdryer, ceiling fan, mosquito net and tea/coffee making facilities. All rooms have queen double beds.

Driving Directions

Starting Point: East Although the great majority of guests of the lodge use flight and boat transfers to get to Bloomfield it is also possible to drive there. Anyone planning to drive will need to rent a 4 WD. Driving time is approxmiately 4 1/2 hours from Cairns. Guests drive to Bloomfield's wharf on the Blooomfield River where the lodge boat will meet them for the final short journey to the Lodge. The meeting time will need to be arranged direct with the lodge at least 24 hours prior. Lock-up sheds are available for parking.

- Cancel Policy: Reservation must be cancelled 28 days prior to 9.00AM on day of arrival for full refund of deposit or so that guest credit card is not charged for 1 night. 28+ days prior-deposit charged; 28-14 days prior-50%; 13-7 days prior-75%; less than 7 days-100%.
- Guarantee Policy: All reservations need a deposit at time of booking. Deposit required: AUD100. Deposit is non-refundable. Total balance due 28 days prior to arrival.
